Sara initially worked a Legal Advisor at the Magistrates Court and qualified as a Solicitor in 2002. In 2003 Sara entered private practice and regularly appears as an advocate for clients in the Magistrates Court, in all types of hearings, including trial and contested applications. In addition, Sara represents clients at the police station during the early stage of an investigation and is often successful in ensuring that no further action is taken against her client’s or that the case is dealt with by way of an out of Court disposal, as opposed to prosecution.
During her career, Sara has developed an extensive experience in representing clients charged with serious offences, including Murder, high profile cases, sexual offences and multi handed cases. Sara is highly skilled at considering and analysing large quantities of evidence and working closely with defence Counsel when preparing Crown Court cases for trial. Sara is very passionate about securing a successful outcome for her clients and displays great attention to detail when working towards furthering her client’s defence.
Sara’s considerable experience enables her to provide the support that clients who face devastating allegations require, ensuring that her clients receive the highest standard of client care and dedication to protecting their interests. In addition, she is experienced in representing clients who are vulnerable or suffer from mental health issues and frequently represents clients in the Youth Court or young people charged with serious offences appearing in the Crown Court.
In addition to representing clients for a wide range of criminal offences, Sara has a wealth of experience representing clients facing all types of motoring offences. Sara is enthusiastic in her approach, providing realistic advice to drivers anxious to preserve their driving licence. In numerous cases Sara has successfully advanced exceptional hardship and special reasons arguments to the Court, where applicable, to avoid disqualification or even endorsement.
