· Sexual Assault: Successfully represented a doctor accused of sexual assaults by two members of staff who was acquitted after trial
· Murder: represented a man accused of killing his plumber and successfully persuaded the CPS to accept a plea to manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility thereby significantly reducing the sentence received. This case was notable for the need to instruct experts including a professor in neuropsychiatry.
· Murder: Represented a man accused of a fatal stabbing, the case against him having been dismissed at half time.
· Murder: successfully represented a man accused of a joint enterprise murder which involved a fridge having been dropped on the deceased repeatedly. The case against him was dismissed at half time.
· Murder: represented a youth accused of Murder who having been convicted at the Crown court, had that conviction overturned by the Court of Appeal. Gary was the lawyer at the police station and throughout the litigation process.
· Wilful Neglect: In one of the first prosecutions of its type, Gary successfully represented a woman who was a speech and language therapist. This case involved the need to navigate intricate legal challenges and the case against his client was stayed as an abuse of process.
· Fraud: Successfully defended a businesswoman accused of Fraud by a large online retailer as part of a private prosecution.
