Laurie is a retired Surrey Police Officer with close to two decades of front-line police response and investigation experience. After completing his front-line service, he transitioned into the newly formed Restorative Justice programme, where he facilitated the removal of juveniles and later adults from the criminal justice system. Laurie is proud to have successfully helped individuals avoid criminal records, while also providing valuable support services to address underlying issues that may have contributed to their offending behaviour. This work is undoubtedly the most rewarding Laurie has undertaken throughout his long and illustrious career.

Laurie has managed response teams in the borough of Epsom, overseeing investigations ranging from low-level offences to Golden Hour Ground commands for various serious incidents. His extensive experience has also seen him chair interagency meetings and collaborate with multiple government departments to enhance cooperation surrounding crime.

Laurie's policing career has equipped him with a unique set of transferable skills that should not go to waste.
