Our submissions addressed the absence of a realistic prospect of conviction and the broader interests of justice in pursuing a prosecution against our professional client of previous good character. In light of these representations, the Crown Prosecution Service agreed that there was insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction at trial, and all charges were discontinued.
